We’ll reach out within two business days, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm ET. We’ll call from Encora Therapeutics, so you know it’s us. If you miss our call, we’ll leave a voicemail so you can give us a call back.

Or have us call you

Tell us the time of day that’s usually good to reach you, and an Encora Patient Advocate will call. No script, no pitch.

One person, start to finish

The parts that would otherwise land on you

Essential Tremor already makes you plan ahead, and starting something new shouldn’t add to that. Your Patient Advocate is one person who handles the steps between your first question and your first weeks wearing the device, so you’re not the one chasing them down. There’s no commitment when you talk to a Patient Advocate and nothing is set in motion unless you or your doctor ask for it.

An Encora Patient Advocate on a call
  1. 01

    Before you decide.

They’ll talk through whether Encora X1 fits the way you actually spend your day, what the clinical research shows, and what’s worth bringing up with your doctor. And if what you’re looking for doesn’t sound like what Encora X1 is designed to do, they’ll be straightforward about that too.

  2. 02

    How coverage works.

Coverage for Encora X1 varies by insurance plan, and some plans may not yet cover it, so a number posted on a web page wouldn’t be true for you. Your advocate isn’t an insurance specialist and won’t guess at your benefits. They’ll tell you what we know, point you toward who can answer the rest, and be available to answer questions while you work it out.

  3. 03

    Your order, tracked.

Encora X1 requires a prescription, and your doctor’s office will take care of that on their schedule. Once your prescription reaches us, we’ll be sure we have all of the information we need to prepare your device. If we need more details, we’ll reach out to you directly. If not, we’ll let you know when your device is on its way, so you’re not left calling to find out where things stand.

  4. 04

    When your device arrives.

Once it arrives, your advocate will get on a call with you while the box is open. Sizing, charging, pairing the app, your first use. We’ll walk through it together in real time.

  5. 05

    Your first weeks.

Short check-ins in the first days and weeks. Fit, comfort, how it’s going, anything that’s bothering you. Tell your advocate about anything you notice, including anything that doesn’t feel right. That’s what the check-ins are for. And if something needs your doctor’s input, they’ll help you know when to reach out.

  6. 06

The same name, the same number.

You’re not routed to whoever’s free. You get one advocate as your familiar point of contact, and that stays the same as you go. If yours is out, whoever picks up will already know your name and where you are in the process.

About Your Privacy

What we do with what you tell us

We collect your name, your phone number, and whatever you choose to share about your symptoms, so your advocate can actually be useful to you. It’s stored in Encora’s secure systems and used to answer your questions and provide Encora X1 support. We don’t sell it, and we don’t hand it to advertisers. If a family member or caregiver is going to be part of your conversations, we’ll ask your permission first, in writing.

Before you call

What to expect from your first Patient Advocate call

How long is the call?

15 to 20 minutes for most people. Longer if you have more to talk about, and you won’t be rushed off the phone.

What will you ask me?

We’re here to listen, to learn about you and your essential tremor journey, then help see if Encora X1 might be a good fit for you. Nothing you need to prepare for, and nothing you have to answer.

Is this a sales call?

No. Your Patient Advocate isn’t there to sell you a device. Encora X1 requires a prescription, and your doctor decides whether it’s appropriate for you. Your advocate’s job is to make sure you have accurate information and know what your options are, including the option to do nothing right now.

Can my spouse or caregiver be on the call?

Yes, and it often helps. Tell us on the form or when you call and we’ll make sure the timing works for both of you.

What happens after we hang up?

You’ll get a short follow-up email with information that will help you get started and provide you with some next steps. If you’d rather not go further, nothing happens, and you can call back whenever you want.

No deadline. No pressure.

When you’re ready, we’re here

Call today, call in six months, or read a while longer first. The invitation doesn’t expire.
